Our Story
Dr. Marquez attended the University of New Mexico where he received his BA in Psychology. He then completed his graduate studies at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona where he earned his Masters and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology. After obtaining his doctorate degree he finished a two-year residency at Rehab Without Walls in Phoenix, Arizona with a focus on post-acute recovery of brain injury. Following his clinical training he relocated to Texas and worked in both post-acute rehabilitation settings and private practice doing hospital rounding and psychotherapy and cognitive rehabilitation. His areas of focus have been on neurorehabilitation, grief counseling and serving those with anxiety, depression and other mood disorders.
Dr. Marquez has been engaged in the practice of clinical psychology for over fifteen years. He hopes to instill in his patients self-reliance and better understanding of their emotional thought processes. He treats his patients with kindness, respect and with the belief all individuals are capable of self=improvement.
Fees/Services
Psychotherapy – Private Pay: $175 hour
(We are currently in the process of paneling with the following insurance companies w/ more to follow: BCBS (Medicaid), BCBS (Commercial), Presbyterian (Medicaid), Presbyterian (Commercial).
